Munich (Germany) – QORIX, a new company for powerful middleware in the mobility industry, announced today its membership in the Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) Working Group at The Eclipse Foundation. This move underscores QORIX’s commitment to advancing the software-defined vehicle technologies amidst increasing software complexity in the automotive industry.​

The automotive industry is shifting towards software-defined vehicle (SDV) design, offering faster time-to-market, new revenue streams, and innovative service models. The SDV Working Group facilitates this transformation, providing a neutral platform for collaboration on open source software for in-vehicle and around-the-vehicle systems, including enhanced in cabin experiences. This open source foundation model promotes flexibility, agility, and cost efficiency.
